BALTIMORE — David Ortiz was informed Monday that he’ll begin serving a three-game suspension for last weekend’s incident in Boston with the Orioles and closer Kevin Gregg. Ortiz and Gregg were both initially fined and given four-game suspensions, but each appealed and had one game knocked off their sentence, as well as their fines reduced. That will be welcome.”Crawford said he’ll look at this as kind of a new start for him.
